Fishing Competition

Actually, i am very exited to write a new post in this blog, at this very moment. It had been a long time since i last posted stories here, and here i am again...writing..:-) or i can say, typing..hehhe

Last time, around February, my husband joined a fishing competition at a lake in Kampung Baharu, Jerantut. I forget the name of the fishing port, however it is a lake where you pay according to hour (s), fishing gear is not included but i suppose the place is quite comfortable, with this small 'pondok' (a hut-like place) and shady trees around the lake.

Various of fishes are kept here in the lake but able to catch one is not guaranteed. After 2 hours waiting, only one of the competitors succeed catching a 2kg 'patin fish' (catfish family).

So, here is the lake and you can see how shady it is, right? A very relaxing place.

Moments later, the same person caugt another fish! This time, it is smaller than the first one. We wonder why fihes fall prey for his bait only...:-(. He only use bread for bait.... after almost 3 hours waiting, other competitiors (including my husband) go back empty handed...i guess it is not our luck... The winner of this competition recieved cash money of RM300.
